Where is the Nutrien Fireworks Festival?
The Nutrien Fireworks Festival takes place in beautiful downtown Saskatoon, SK at River Landing 1 & Rotary Park.
When is the Nutrien Fireworks Festival?
The Festival takes place on Friday, August 31st, and Saturday, September 1st.
What time does it start?
Entertainment and attractions get underway at 5:00 pm both days at River Landing & Rotary Park. The firework displays are set for 9:30 pm on each night.
What if it rains?
The Nutrien Fireworks Festival will go forward rain or shine, with the only exception being severe wind and/or an electrical storm. In the event of a weather-related postponement there will be an alternate fireworks night.
What is there to do at the Festival?
There are many things to experience at the Nutrien Fireworks Festival: music, dancing, food, drinks, live entertainment, and of course . . . Fireworks!! There will be activities happening at Rotary Park so make sure to come out early in time to check everything out!
How do I get there?
A Bike Valet Service will be set up near Rotary Park. Also, city transit will be operating buses on the normal Friday and Saturday schedules. Please visit City of Saskatoon Transit for route information. Lastly, there are a number of parking lots around the main festival area for those that need to drive. Please consider carpooling! And please plan a safe ride home.
Is there seating provided?
Seating at the Rotary Park is on a first-come, first-serve basis. We suggest bringing lawn chairs, blankets, etc. to make yourself comfortable somewhere on the grass for all festival areas.
What should I wear?
During the day, you’ll need sun protection (hopefully!) and some comfortable shoes if you want to wander around throughout the day. Plan to bring a sweater or jacket for after sunset, as well as insect repellent and rain gear if necessary.
Is there food at the Festival?
Yes! There will be food vendors selling food and beverages in all festival sites.
Are there children’s activities at the Festival?
Yes! There will be a variety of fun things for the kids, including face painting, games, music, jumpy toys, a petting zoo, and a ferris wheel to enjoy during the festival! Glow sticks will also be provided after sunset.

Yes! The Saskatoon Fireworks Festival is incorporated as a non-profit corporation – #101157798 and is a FREE community event for all to enjoy!
