Celebrating our Community
Nutrien Firewroks Festival
This year, as we work to keep our beloved community safe during the pandemic, we have chosen to hold the event on February 13, 2021 and to make it a virtual Valentine’s Special.
Whether you are cozied up in your home, enjoying a delicious meal at your favourite restaurant or in a hotel suite with your sweetheart – join in and watch!
There will be entertainers, two firework shows, games, prizes and more!
When We All Get to Meet Again in Person
We look forward to the day that we get to meet along the river. When it is safe to do so, we will once again welcome you to an outdoor event with vendors and lots of activities for people of all ages and interests to enjoy.
The legacy
The Fireworks Festival was created to bring a world-class fireworks event to Saskatoon. 2008 was the inaugural year for this amazing festival which saw almost 50,000 people come out and enjoy the fireworks and other festival offerings.
Nutrien
In 2010, we announced the title sponsorship of the festival by Nutrien thereby launching the Nutrien Fireworks Festival. We continue to look forward to a weekend that will develop into a recognizable and successful annual event that will attract tourism and generate economic gains for the city.
