When is the Nutrien Fireworks Festival?

The 2021 Nutrien Fireworks Festival is a live event hosted on Friday and Saturday of the Labour Day Weekend, September 3rd and September 4th.

Where is the Nutrien Fireworks Festival?

The Nutrien Fireworks Festival takes place in beautiful downtown Saskatoon, SK at River Landing, the Traffic Bridge and Rotary Park.

What time does it start?

Entertainment and attractions get underway at 5:00 pm both days at Rotary Park and River Landing. The firework displays are set for 9:30 pm each night.

What is the festival doing in response to COVID-19?

We are working on a plan to help curb the spread of COVID-19 and keep our attendees and volunteers safe. Please refer to our website closer to the event date and we will provide details at that time.

How do I get there?

City transit will be operating buses on the normal Friday and Saturday schedules. Please visit the City of Saskatoon Transit for route information.

There are several parking lots in downtown Saskatoon around the main festival area. For those that need to drive, please consider carpooling! And please, plan a safe ride home.

Riding your bike to the festival is highly encouraged. The Saskatoon Cycles Bike Valet service will be in operation from 4 – 10 PM each day.

What is there to do at the Festival?

The Nutrien Fireworks Festival music, dancing, food, drinks, live entertainment, and of course . . . Fireworks!! There are activities happening in River Landing, the Traffic Bridge and Rotary Park so make sure to come out early to check everything out!

What should I wear?

Many of the festival events and activities will take place outside, so please dress for the weather. Wear comfortable shoes for walking. Bring an extra layer to keep warm as the sun sets.

Is there seating provided?

Seating at the River Landing Amphitheatre is on a first-come, first-serve basis. We suggest bringing lawn chairs, blankets, etc. to make yourself comfortable somewhere on the grass for all festival areas.

There is an accessible drop-off area and an area reserved for people who use wheelchairs.

Is there food at the Festival?

There will be more than 20 different vendors selling food and beverages at the festival. Click here to see an updated list of vendors.

Are there family-friendly activities at the Festival?

The SGI  Family Fun Zone will have activities for all ages. The SGI Safety Fair will provide you with ideas to ensure you and your family stay safe every day.

Is the Fireworks Festival a non profit community event?

Yes! The Saskatoon Fireworks Festival is incorporated as a non-profit corporation. We work closely with our partners and sponsors to provide a FREE community event for all to enjoy!
